In September 2001, the Mobile Workshop was commissioned in order to bring our services within easy reach of the disabled persons living in remote areas of the country.
Our aim is to help disabled children continue their schooling without interruption and to develop their full potential by providing educational grants.
Through our self-employment project, our aim is to help amputees and disabled persons to regain their self-esteem, dignity and sense of well being and re-integrate into mainstream society.
Started in 1991, AIDEX is the Annual Sports Festival for users of the Jaipur Limb. Organized by the Colombo Friend-in-Need Society, this is the only event that draws public attention towards the society and its hard work in the community.
