The CFINS runs a 30-bed transit hostel / ward completely free of charge, supplying 3 meals a day. Once they are fitted with the prosthetic limb, they need physiotherapy treatment and psychological support which could take from one week to two weeks depending on the patient’s skills of getting used to his or her new limb. We supply them with crutches too, as many of them are from remote areas and do not have facilities of indoor toilets.
