Started in 2009, this programme provides patients with the equipment or raw material on interest free loans to enable them to undertake income generating activities in order to support themselves and live an independent life. They are also taught basic entrepreneurial skills such as accounting, marketing, saving, quality control etc.. which is monitored and supported by a coordinator. This would allow the patients to reintegrate into mainstream society and regain their self-esteem, dignity, and a sense of well-being.
This programme is mainly sponsored by the MJF Charitable Foundation.
