CFINS is seeking volunteers to work as counsellors for limb amputees for whom we provide prosthesis.

We are seeking those who are passionate about providing meaningful and effective support for these individuals who have undergone a drastic change to their day to day life.

The process:

·      All those who apply will meet our staff to find out about the work involved. This would give us the opportunity to help you understand whether this is a role that you would love and enjoy.

·      Once you are selected for the role as a counsellor, you will undergo a basic training in counselling by a qualified psychologist.

·      The counselling sessions can be prearranged at your convenience. It can be conducted physically at the CFINS centre or via video facilities arranged by CFINS.

Please send us a brief description of yourself with a small paragraph detailing why you would like to join us in this endeavour.

President,

Colombo Friend in Need Society (CFINS),
